Authentic Alaskan Native and made in Alaska artwork (over 200 Alaskan artists)! We are dedicated to promoting Alaskan art- carvings, masks, baskets, jewelry, and alaskan made gifts. The gallery is located inside a hand built historic log house, downtown Fairbanks- walking distance from most hotels.

The ALaska House was hand built in the early 1930's and has been owned by the Fejes family since 1963. Beautifully maintained inside and out~ are garden is spectacular in the summer!

They know their artists and their art!

For years they have always dealt fairly with the artists and craftspeople they buy from, and their art and products are easily the best gallery in the Interior!

My friend and I were in Alaska specifically to research Native made Alaskan dolls at the Museum of the North. We both wanted to find quality dolls for purchase to add to our respective collections. We went straight to this wonderful gallery run by Yolande, Claire Fejes, daughter. You will enjoy a sensory treat as well as learn in-depth about... More

We found the Alaska House Art Gallery quite by chance and what an amazing find it was. The current owner is the daughter of Claire Fejes, the amazing artist who spent time with and painted portraits of the Native inhabitants of Alaska's northwest coast. There are changing exhibits and monthly events at the gallery. If you are in Fairbanks, make... More

Unique gift shop/gallery located in a small house/log cabin. Helpful staff person that patiently described local artist jewelry collection. Worth a visit! Prices reflective of the quality/beauty of items for sale.

This wonderful gallery has museum quality pieces with an Alaskan theme, and a number of older items made by native people. The mix is eclectic, including oils, prints, sculpture, baskets, carvings, and a lot of very nice jewelry in a wide range of prices. The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable, will ship anywhere, and has priced the work in... More

After you've seen countless gift shops at every Alaskan attraction, this gallery and gift venue will grab you. Local and regional artisans have created really artful and stunning jewelry and hanging art that captures not only the natural environment of Alaska, but also its cultural richness. Its located in the heart of downtown, near most hotels. My wife bought a... More

The Alaska House Art Gallery is a charming log and stone cabin-style building, filled with art of some of Alaska's best know artists–Earl Atchak, Gael Murakami and Bill Brody, to name a few. On my most recent visit, the gallery offered complimentary blueberry lemonade and live music. The jewelry cases are full of exquisitely detailed beadwork and caribou tufting by... More
