What a lovely walk across the water into Brooklyn. The view of Manhattan is amazing and I think this view from the bridge is better than the view from the top of a building.

Excellent walk across the bridge. The tour guide gave us a very informative tour and historic perspective of the bridge and Dumbo.

Stunning views. It is important that you catch a fair day, but it is a must. It is also important to know that there is no place to get any water on the bridge so stack up before you start walking across

The view from the bridge is spectacular. It's not too crowded. You can sketch and take pictures easily.

If in NYC you must, on a sunny day (particularly near sunset), walk across this bridge and back into Manhattan. It's a spectacular icon and, true to the cliche, must not be missed. Absolutely splendid. Easily reached from City Hall and it's adjoining park.

You get some stunning views from this bridge whilst the sun sets and the lights awaken from the buildings!

I took the subway. Only takes about 15 minutes and is very safe. If you are there for a few days, buy an unlimited metro card and you can use it in the subway or bus lines. Well worth the money.

It depends on where are you guys heading after the walk, because I have done it both ways and the train station is farther from the bridge on the Brooklyn side. If you have another destination in Brooklyn afterwards I’ll... More
