After seeing it dozens of movies and tv shows, we kind of knew what to expect however it really is something else when your actually standing on it! We walked from the Manhattan side across to Brooklyn. Plenty of places to stop for photos and take in the spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline. It really was worth the walk... More

My wife and I missed the easy on to walking path on the Manhattan side, but got up another way. A lot of people on the bridge. Need to remember there is a bike lane and you need to pay attention. A great view! A great walk.

Went there with big family. A must to walk but is better to see from Brooklyn...! Crowdy and a bit to little space and a lot of angry locals on bikes. They did not like us tourists that walked on their side of the path...!

I was visiting New York over the Christmas & New year. My first visit to the States and I wasn't much impressed by the train stations. Finally I got the feeling of being in New York after visiting Times Square and from walking over the Brooklyn bridge and getting the lovely view of the city. It reminded of many movies and... More

Go on a summer afternoon when it's not too hot. Take a bike or walk down. Great way to spend an afternoon - afterwards go to julianas for pizza!

New York City is a wonderful sight to behold through the Brooklyn bridge. You can ride a bike, walk or run alone or with your friends. Summer is the best season to try crossing this bridge on foot.

We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge during sunset towards Manhattan. Seeing the bright orange colours as it transition to the dark evening sky with lights of the buildings in Manhattan was magical. You could also catch a glimpse of Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building & Chrysler Building. Keep in mind to walk within the walking path, bicycle riders can... More

This is must do when visiting the city! You simply must walk the iconic bridge rather than passing by on a boat! Great photos to be had and spectacular views walking from Brooklyn to Manhatten. It's like your in the movies! Highly recommend :):):)
