Had a little time between doctors appointments to take my six year old son to visit the park. We only stayed about a half an hour because it was windy and cold but can see why it's popular. We then took the adjacent ferry into Manhattan which is a fun and quick ride.

This is a must see on your trip to New York. We walked to the bridge from Little Italy late afternoon and the sun had just set. We were told most people walk the other way across the bridge from Brooklyn to Manhattan but it looked amazing with plenty of stops for photos. I would have loved to have seen... More

The Brooklyn Bridge is a class New York structure that offers great views of the city. Definitely worth the trip, but was extremely crowded at sunset.

It doesn't take very long to walk along the Brooklyn Bridge but the views are totally worth it. During the winter, be prepared because it does get cold and can be extremely windy. While walking across, mind the bicyclists.

We got a subway for $3 to Brooklyn at about 3.30 and then walked over the bridge to the city while the sun was setting! This actually made me a little emotional as was so beautiful. The bridge itself is an impressive structure and Peice of architecture but with the sunsetting and the amazing skyline view you get this is... More

What an amazing structure. If you like a good photo do the bridge on a sunny blue sky day. Walking in the direction of the Manhattan skyline is preferable for the views. Very crowded on a weekend. Keep out of the path of the bikes too.

Busy place, iconic national treasure with a fantastic history, but still great at what it was designed for, that being connecting Brooklyn to Manhattan. Views walking from Brooklyn into Manhattan over the elevated walkway are stunning. Also good place for spotting NYPD officers eating their donuts whilst sitting in their golf buggies, that is if they are not sleeping!

So much fun walking across the Bk Bridge. U will learn all about the construction of the bridge. The weight of each metal used to make the bridge. Who helped to build and design bridge. When your is over u enter Bklyn Heights. Here u will learn about the Underground Railroad. It's an amazing educational tour and FUN!

The views are spectacular from the Brooklyn Bridge. I would recommend if a clear day to walk over the bridge into NYC or Brooklyn and explore the surrounding areas. Please bring your camera as you will want to take pictures. It may entice you to visit the Seaport and take a boat ride

Ready for a very cool walk in Brooklyn? Take the subway to Borough Hall and head to the water. This park, which has been constructed with sustainabie principles in mind, has spectacular views, diverse amenities (recreational fields, food stops, art, beach, ferries, etc.), a mix of visitors, and some of the most expensive new housing in Brooklyn! This "destination park"... More
