The New York Aquarium is nice but it is still under construction so not everything is open. While we had a wonderful visit it wasn’t spectacular as the main building is still closed due to the devastation of Sandy! Once everything is open I think...More

The NY Aquarium is currently being done over bc of Hurricane Sandy. It should be completed in the Summer of 2018. They have an amazing Sea Lion show and feedings through lout the day. It's open all year around, but let's be real, the Summer...More

We decided to go because we wanted something to do incase the weather was bad. We really went to walk the boardwalk and go to Brighton Beach. Our frustration was with the parking. When we purchased the tickets online, it says "instant park access" which...More

Came here because it was so cold out thinking it would be indoors. Some of the aquariums are inside. Some are outside and most are closed when it is really cold out. We were in and out of the aquarium in 45 minutes. The fish...More

We went with family and thought it was a better experience. Many attractions were under construction. Not much to see but we felt it was overpriced. Kids liked the place but not your ordinary Aquarium.

Dirty, nasty workers, you can do better. Don't waste your money. And don't give in to the "buy a membership"

The aquarium was undergoing repairs when we visited and many of the attractions were closed. The few attractions that were available were ok but the sea lion show was definitely the highlight of the visit. The 4D theatre was pretty cool too.

Still under major renovation, we went on the ‘pay what you want’ Friday and it still wasn’t worth what we paid. There is one indoor room of fish and a few sad little zones for penguins and sea lions outside. I’d recommend waiting until the...More

Mostly detroyed during hurricane Sandy, the reconstruction is still not complete and looks like it will be a while before it's up and running. While they have reduced the entry fee because of limited things to see, the parking is still $25 so this makes...More
