While relatively small, it uses it's space very well. The tanks are very clean and have large viewing windows, providing an excellent view of the fish. The sea lions and otters are adorable during their feeding times. I only wish that the large building was...More

My granddaughter had my son and I take her to the aquarium year after year; we all loved these trips. My favorite was the cute sea otter floating on his back. The seals are great fun to watch as they come diving down into their...More

This place is very small, 3-4 small fish tanks inside and a temporary shark tank outside. The fish is beautiful, but all this can be enjoyed in 30 minutes. 11 and 13 year old in my family whole love nature and museums were bored very...More

I struggled with whether to rate this 2 or 3 stars, but the sad fact is that this is not an "average" Aquarium but --at least in its current state--it is, in fact, poor. I certainly would encourage individuals to support the facility during the...More

This is a sad aquarium experience. They are in the process of a renovation-- so wait until that is done and it will probably be wonderful. Right now-- not worth the $$ even at the reduced price.

As much as I love Coney Island for its Rich history and it's Famous Boardwalk, the Coney Island Aquarium needs a complete and total makeover! It is very dark and dreary inside and the walls and carpet are just to old and worn to look...More

The aquarium is very small. I wanted to see more. The only thing I enjoyed was the 3D movie. My niece and nephews had fun and that's all that matters.

It's incredible this is the only Acuarium in NYC. It's not comparable to one other big city in the world (London, Berlin, San Diego, Valencia, etc). You have several zoos to go (Central Park, Bronx, Brooklyn) but... what about an aquarium? I was upset and...More

The only thing between the aquarium and the full force of Hurricane Sandy was one dune. Do yourself a favor and Google some of the pictures of what that storm did to this place. Coney Island was ripped apart by the storm, and the Aquarium...More

Not much here. I'm a member WCS member, and was excited to take my daughter for her first trip here. We went through it pretty quickly, not much to see. I understand it's been damaged by Hurricane Sandy, but it's already been 5 years. There...More

Always best to go to the website to see if there have been any changes to the pricing. But also remember the parking fee.
