The grounds and monument were beautiful. The movie that was shown in visitor center was very interesting. The park rangers were very friendly.

I highly recommend a visit here. One to two hours and you come away with an amazing amount of knowledge about the expansion of America in the Midwest and the Revolutionary War at this location. An excellent 30 minute video.

One of the more impressive national historic sites. It is a visually stunning monument to George Rogers Clark. The monument itself looks like something that would fit right in in Washington DC. It features several statues and wonderful view of the river right behind it....More

Great information on an unappreciated American Patriot. Not only is the location beautiful, but historically relevant to the story of the monument. Never realized the role of the Indiana territory in regard to the American Revolution.

Enjoy the inside mural of events leading up to the founding of Indiana's first city; vincennes. Stand on the raised platform and overlook the grounds to visualize the fort that the monument commemorates.

This is a really neat place to go and visit. It only takes a couple of hours to see. There are head phones to use for the tour. A nice time.

The monument itself (including the murals and statue inside) was very impressive. I believe the guide said it was the largest battlefield monument in the US. The film inside the visitors center was informative, if not outdated-but still very educational. The guides inside were very...More

A monument not just to a Revolutionary War hero, but also to events allowing for the Northwest Territory and the building blocks to America's westward expansion. A must see on a visit to historic Vincennes!
