Went on the last tour for the day, Nate is the most informative guide, who knew how to maximise our time in the canyon, and best avoid the crowds. He helped everyone to set up their cameras, showed us all the best spots to take...More

Nate's the hardest working tour guide in the canyon. Made sure we all got good shots on the photo tour. The canyon is incredibly crowded, even in the shoulder season. But Nate knew how to maximize our opportunities in the limited time we had.

We looked into a number of the tour companies providing tours to upper antelope canyon and thought Chief Tsosie's was the best. We weren't disappointed. Our tour guide, Leonard was amazing and knowledgeable and showed us the best angles to take photos. He also gave...More

They suggest 12 noon because of the angle of the sun. Rays of light shine through at that time. We went at 1:00pm did not see direct rays; but did have plenty light.

There are less daily tours during winter. You must use one of the Native American tour groups.
