We took time for one of the boat cruises that was offered. One of the highlights of our trip. Crew was very good and the cruise in the canyons gave us a whole new perspective of the canyon walls. Beautiful views and interesting formations made...More

Very good restaurant served by Glade who was let down by his staff, some dishes presented were not what was ordered. Food was good as was the wine. You have to pay a $25 lake entrance fee, add this to the cost of the meal...More

This is a big lake created by a dam on the Colorado River. The canyon was flooded and created the lake. I am sure that was a controversial decision and continues to be debated. I can go throughout the US and see similar dams with...More

A fascinating location, although I would personally have preferred that they never built the dam. I think the canyon would have been amazing to explore without all the water. The low water levels have created some interesting challenges for the marinas.
