Very thorough, most of the tour you listen to through headphones, which is fine. There are a lot of narrators with different experiences and information. You see a lot of the lake. Our captain, a female whose name I don’t recall, was excellent. You can...More

The 2.5 hour tour out of Lake Powell Resort was just great. The captain/ guide was informative and when she couldn't talk due to noise levels the included head phones played prerecorded info about the lake and area. The sights from the boat are awesome...More

Great time on Lake Powell. Lake Powell Houseboat Rental was a bit difficult and confusing. Once you get paperwork and start waiting for the boat there aren't any points of contact to give updates as to when your boat is ready. We signed up for...More

We chose the 1.5 hr Antelope Canyon boat tour from the Lake Powell Resort. This also motors past the Dam. The scenery was beautiful; the narration from the audiophone was informative, and it was fun to see the kayakers and stand-up paddlers enjoying the lake....More

We took the 1pm Canyon tour which featured Antelope Canyon and Navajo Canyon as well as touring the lake. The narration via our headsets was very interesting and the views were amazing. Going through the Canyons at water level was amazing. I would highly recommend...More

We were relieved to find that Lake Powell Boat Tours do not overbook as the other tours in the same area. The gentle man at the LPBT desk in the Resort was really courteous and happily gave us AAA discount on our tour when we...More

We took the 1.5 hr cruise. Went past the dam, down Antelope Canyon (spectacular!) and around some of the lake shoreline. LOVED the earphones with narration on the history and geology of what we were seeing, so we didn't miss anything that was explained! Great...More

We were really looking forward to this relaxing dinner cruise. Started 45 minutes later than planned. Food was a little less than advertised but was still good. Cruise was nice to the dam and back. Wait staff was really efficient and apologetic about the late...More

Herd you on a boat like cattle. Then you get the joy of having people stand in front of you so you can't see a damn thing.A lot like a rock concert.

It was a great trip there and back. We had to board the boat at 7:20 a.m. and bring our own lunch. It was an approximate two hour guided tour there with interesting tidbits from the captain about the scenery along the way, plus even...More

I am spending 1 1/2 days in Page AZ. I have booked the raft float trip on the Colorado and seeing the lower Antelope Slot Canyon. Thinking about a ride on Lake Powell too. Should I do the Antelope Canyon boat tour or the Panoramic boat tour or will it be similar to the raft trip? All suggestions appreciated!

The float raft trip is the best. We did the dinner cruise so I'm not sure about the others. If you have enough time it probably would be a plus for your trip !!
We are planning to visit Page/Lake Powell later this month, can you tell me if it's necessary to book in advance for boat tours? Many thanks.

Weekends could be problematic and summer could be busy. Afternoons seem to be easier without a booking. Our boat could hold over 100 but we only had 30 for the 1.00 pm cruise.
Can you rent some of the "water toys" by the hour, like the kayak's , jet skis ?
