A year ago Big Lake Trading Post went under new management and this past year they have been busy with renovations that keep the southwest charm, while making it more modern. There are all new gas and fuel pumps and paving and concrete. New merchandise...More

It's a great place to visit to see all the knickknacks one can buy. The prices are a little pricey, and it's a bit commercial. But if you like this kind of stuff, you can stop in the way we did and look around to...More

We were looking for somewhere to pick up a souvenir or just to spend a few minutes while we waited to go to a local attraction. What a waste of time! They had almost nothing to eat, dirty restrooms, and absolutely no souvenirs. 7-Eleven would've...More

We love fry bread & they make it good! Friendly people, clean bathrooms. They had several food items & if we were more hungry we would have had the lamb burger.

Thank you for your honest review unlike many who simply complain about everything.

Disgusting. For a woman, this was a "hover" toilet. Never again. Toilets dirty, smells horrible. Go into town...that's my suggestion.

Sorry about your experience. Unfortunately we cannot keep cleaning them after every customer nor are we a rest stop dedicated to people who only want to use the restrooms and nothing more.

Horrible customer service!!!! Charged us for filling up our water bottle with ice and we even bought a drink and food there! I will never go to this unfriendly place ever again! You lost our business rude owner!

Sorry for your experience. Everything in a store costs that store money to purchase, even the ice. We don't get products for free so those costs get past along to the consumer otherwise businesses would go out of business. Being honest is not being rude.

It is what it looks like. A store owned by a burned out owner who actually despises tourists. The later in the summer you go, the more you will feel how pissed off they are.

Sorry about your experience. The "owner" that you refer to was not the owner of the store but as an employee. He was eventually let go for his poor attitude.
