The Upper Antelope Canyon ist just a pain for all ambitious photographers. Hundreds of people are in the Canyon at any given time. The tour guides are constantly pushing you to move forward and the light is just a desaster. In case you have an iphone and are o.k with the quality you will be perfectly fine. In all other... More

We stayed overnight in Page AZ and toured the Upper Antelope Canyon with Dixie Ellis Tours..... OMG, this should be a bucket list item. The Canyon is absolutely stunning and our tour was fabulous. A young and beautiful woman - Nikki - provided us with excellent historical and cultural knowledge. She knew where all the great photo spots were and... More

It is easy to get through the canyon even for the young and old. You first get on a truck operated by the local Indian tribes that will take you to the beginning of a short hike. The hike is flat and is unbelievably beautiful but during the summer it can be hot and also remember there will likely be... More

The Antelope Canyon is stunningly gorgeous. I would recommend it to anyone. I did both Upper and Lower Canyon tours and the guides were great on both. They tell you all about the place, and where you can get good pictures (if you're into that sort of thing). I should add I was on the "regular" tours, not the photo... More

Antelope Canyons in Navajo Nations are spectacular slot canyons. We visited both the Upper Antelope Canyon and the Lower Antelope Canyon this Thanksgiving weekend. We visited the Upper Antelope Canyon before visiting the Lower Antelope Canyon the next day. We liked the Lower Antelope Canyon more than the Upper Antelope Canyon. That does not mean Upper Antelope Canyon is not... More

This review is dedicated to Nate, the tour operator who helped us patiently explore the beauty of the canyon. We took a 3-hour tour (Owl, Rattle Snake, Upper Antelope) with him. Upper Antelope is monstrously beautiful. There are so many views and angles of the canyon walls that you wouldn't know on your own. That's why you need Nate. Some... More

it is an amazing experience walking through the canyon and photographing the light and shadows playing in the sand stone crevices. If you are a photographer, take the photographer's tour. Remember to bring a tripod.

I chose the Upper Canyon because it did not involve going up and down a ladder. We did not come at the time where the sunbeams make for stunning pictures. However, the Canyon is still stunning. If you make a reservation with Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours, you will have a short ride. Our guide was awesome. She helped us with... More

We booked our trip (from Australia) around seeing both upper and lower canyons.Staying in Page made this easily accessible. We were booked on the 1pm tour in October. It was getting a bit dark even by then in the canyon. The upper canyon is well worth going to but in our opinion not as great as the lower (see entry... More
