We drove and it takes about 4.5 hours from Las Vegas. We were amazed by the canyon, it’s nothing like we have ever seen or experienced before. We would thoroughly recommend though the travel time should be considered. Horseshoe bend is also just down the road, so you could fit in two beautiful places in one trip.

I can’t speak to the kayak tour, but are you staying close to Antelope Canyon? We drove from Grand Canyon for an 8:30am tour. Plus they want you there 20 minutes early to check in. Between the early wake up and tour, plus our drive to Zion National Park I cant imagine squeezing in a kayak trip because we were absolutely exhausted. Granted we had five kids with us, but I hope our experience can help you with your decision. Loved our tour of Antelope and would do it all over again!
