So many items to browse! From jewelry and clothes to home goods and linens to camping and canoeing gear! Items range in price, and everything seems to be of good quality.

For more years than I can remember lake superior trading post has been a must stop for our family. Whether it was for camping gear we forgot or games and books, there was something for everyone.

Found this place on our adventure to Grand Marais. Hubby sure liked the salt water taffy. I found a book and oggled the glasswear. They seemed to have a lot of stuff to camp or boat but great finds for the average window shopper too!

Everything one needs for hiking, biking, camping, and cold weather sports can be located here under one roof and two floors. Apparel and decorating items are attractively displayed in this charming building near the water of Lake Superior along with all necessary outdoor equipment, shoes, books, and candy.

There are a ton of cute shops and artsy shops in Grand Marais but this is our one must visit every trip. My husband even enjoys it. The main floor is menswear and outdoorsy and shoes for the entire family. Candy and sweets too. Upstairs is more for the gals and kids. Very cute kids' toys especially the variety of... More

This store is a "must see". Employees are amazing and will do anything to make your experirience a good one. I could browse all day and then go back the next day. Everything in the store is high quality and fairly priced. The best part is the number of interesting and fun items. There is something for everyone. This is... More

Catering to the woodsy and more well off, there is a large selection of higher quality and priced equipment and gifts. It also houses the best selection of souvenir decals for your Nalgene bottle/ laptop/ car or where ever else you stick them. Two floors packed full, an easy yes for every visit to Grand Marais.

The second floor is for us non-hikers, campers or fishers. Beautiful and high-quality clothing, home decorations, jewelry, children's gifts, scents, music and other items. The first floor looks like a great place to outfit anyone outdoorsy, including books, maps and snacks.

This has been a stop for me every time I have gone to Grand Marais over the last 30 years. It is always fun to go in and look at the high quality clothes, shoe wear and books. It is a little more sterile than the earlier years and way overpriced. It is only worth buying something here if you... More
