Fun and Whimsical Rainy Day Stop

Cheap and quick stop, fun on a rainy day. The tour is quick maybe 10-15 minutes and it is a cute little place. A must see while vacationing in the Mountains.

This is a small museum but the man running the place was very nice. One of the most unique things to go see in Gatlinburg. We took our children and the shakers were all behind glass so we had no problems with our children touching the shakers. There were so many shakers to look at that we could been there... More

What a wonderful distraction from the insanity of Gatlinburg's main strip. This cute collection reflects a lifetime of work and the passion of an unusual obsession fused with a kitschy tourist attraction. Great work!

When we arrived there was a note on the door with a phone number to call so we could enter. Just another piece of the unique experience. We called and while we were waiting (about 5 minutes) more people came. We explained that we had called so they waited too. By the time the 5 minutes was up there were... More

I have wanted to go to this museum for a long time, and finally got the chance to go this past week. When we arrived, we were told it was too close to closing time (2 p.m.??) and we could not come in. The woman at the door was quite unfriendly, and definitely discouraged any further desire to visit. There... More

I am a sucker for quirky roadside attractions like this. More than 20,000 salt and pepper shakers - but we didn't try to count them. Only $3 admission and you can apply that to the cost of a set to take home (cheapest sets available are about $12.95). They got some shakers that run up over $50...What would you pay... More

A trip down memory lane. So many shakers, both to look at and to buy. The lady who worked there was very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
