Took a quick trip to Gatlinburg to see how much damage was done by the fires. Charred ruins of homes and businesses were visible all around the main strip but signs were everywhere declaring "smokies strong." People were everywhere too. Found one of my favorite shops from childhood Gatlinburg trips.....Aunt Mahalia's Candy Shop! It's still there and looks the same.... More

Very nice homemade candy store. Lots of chocolate options. Try the Buckeyes, they are very good! Smaller shop, so might be tight if taking in a large group.

This was the highlight of my grand daughters trip to Gatlinburg, we saw lots of things like the Aquarium etc but all she wanted to talk about was the candy store, second trip back a couple of years later and all she could talk about was going back to the candy store.

A lot of the candy here is handmade, they have all kinds of candy jellies, truffles, pecan clusters, taffy etc. Some of the items are a little on the pricier side but they're really worth it. The taffy is particularly delicious. They have "Tart Taffy" that are delicious! They're really flavorful and just the right amount of chewy without being... More

This is a must-stop for our family for 14 years! They've got the best candies, fudges, and caramel turtles to ever have! Then, a caramel apple that's just beautiful! You will not regret it!

I've been visiting Gatlinburg for nearly 40 years, and have seen a lot of things come and go over the years. Of the two major candy kitchens in the 'burg (the other is Old Smokey Candy Kitchen), this one is my favorite. The prices have gone up a bit, but the quality is top-notch. Their famous glass jars of colorful... More

Always stop in here for divinity for me and candy for the grandkids. A little pricy but its worth it. Service is never that friendly here, good thing the candy is worth the stop.

Didn't make it until my last night, but it was on my list! I needed my "divinity fix"! Excellent, as always!
