Some of the jellies are really good, we tasted a few and liked the plum, moonshine, honey jelly, and mayhaw (the owner described this as like a crabapple). We didn't care for the garlic jelly but the owner said it would be good with cream...More

I have been going to "The Jelly Store" since I was a little girl with my parents. It is the Only place to buy jelly when in Gatlingburg. The place is clean and has every type/flavor of jelly, jam etc you could possibly want.

It's one thing to have an older building with character but a lot of the stuff was covered in dust and some cob webs connected things. It might have a great, local product but the lack of cleanliness kept me from trying or buying.

Great place to find jams, jellies, preserves, butters, syrups, sauces, honeys and other items. They are limited in the type of butters they sell. I had seen another place that had more fruit butters and hoped they offered also. They will tell you that their...More

Never before have I seen so many variations and selections of jellies, jams and such. I purchased a sampler which allowed me to select my own preferred jellies.

If the Jelly House is closed, you may easily purchase delicious goods at other locations. We recently bought preserves and jellies at the National Park Service at Sugarlands and at the Cades Cove Park Service building.

No, the sugar acts as a preservative and they can be simply wiped clean and kept in the pantry. Refrigerating them can cause them to granulate and they will not keep as long.
