Great for walking, running, playing on the playground or having a picnic. I used to come here often with my son but now come for the nice walking route.

The weather was great today. I went out for a run around the lake. I think its about 1.25 miles around. There are good and clean bathrooms that are public. The path are gravel so its easy on the knees. Even though the weather was great, there were not that many people there. And parking is free.

I love Buddy Attick Lake, I used to come here as a kid to rid the paddle boats. Now I live in Greenbelt and take my dogs down to the lake all the time. We have seen turtles mating in May & June. We have seen the beaver at dusk. And we even have a resident heron. It's peaceful and... More

This my go to spot when I need to get out and go for a walk. I love just walking through while listening to my music.

But really, it's pretty average. They keep growing wild plants in front of the view. The reasons for this are unknown. If you have a bench in front of the lake, the logical next step is to make sure there isn't a big bush growing in front of it, no? But, other from that, it's cool enough. You can see... More

Great park that is well maintained and easy to get to. The trail around the lake is the perfect size for a long relaxing walk that gets you surrounded with nature. As an added bonus, it has lots of Pokemon stops (for anyone with kids who enjoy the game).

It's hard to believe that the Capitol beltway is only steps away from Buddy Attick. The park could be improved though with the addition of some shelters.

I've been coming to Greenbelt Park for 50 years and it has remained the same for the most part during that entire time. Nice walking and nature trails abound. A beautiful lake to sit beside, do a little fishing, and on the 4th of July, see a great fireworks display put on by the City of Greenbelt. Adequate parking and... More

At one mile around, it’s easy to keep track of how far you’ve walked or run. For children and adults alike, there are plenty of pretty flowers plus ducks, turtles, and herons to make the time spent there interesting. There’s even a beaver dam, although I have yet to see the beavers. Fishing (with proper license) is allowed and there’s... More
