Took the family to walk and explore the trails and monuments, and stopped in the visitor's center to see the exhibits. 2 movies also available. History comes to life.

Great place to jog, walk, or stroll all year long. Busy during the weekends and holidays. The roads are blocked the weekend in the spring or fall when the re-en-actors come to camp and play fake wars. The cannons sound real! BOOM! Great place to take your canine friends!

I love this park, its quiet, large, and doesn't get old. There are so many paths to walk in you could spend a lot of time here, and I've never seen it very crowded because it's pretty spread out and quiet. There are usually deer in the park that don't seem to mind people being around, so you can get... More

I had a quick stop at this National Military Park. Visitor center was informative with good video options on the park (a short one and a long one). Very helpful staff. There is a good driving tour with stops to view historical points and perspectives. The road is full of walkers and bikers, as this park has neighborhoods surrounding it.... More

This is a pet friendly park. You can walk the trails and read about the battle. I go to this park at least 2 times a week to walk my dog. This is also a good place to ride your bikes. The main road is almost 2 miles around. No places for picnicking there. The museum is a good place... More

If you're interested in Revolutionary War history and you enjoy walking, this park is definitely worth a visit. I wouldn't recommend, however, that you take young children since you'll want to spend time in the Visitor's Center before you take the walking tour. The displays are informative, the gift shop is nice, and the staff are all very helpful. Outside,... More

I spend three to four days a week here walking trails. The park is well maintained and full of historical surprises. Very rarely do i walk in the evenings without seeing deer.

I live five minutes from the park and always take out of town guests here. You can meander through the wooded park and encounter plaques and statutes telling of the revolutionary battle. It's great exercise too. There is a road circling the outer area of the park that is great for walking and encompasses about two miles.

This is a very nicely maintained and laid out National Military Park. The locals quite obviously find this an attractive place to walk and it is easy to see why. The visitor's center has well done displays and features artifacts found on the battlefield. The only downside was the park ranger. He was entirely devoid of personality and had little... More
