Before Gettysburg a crucial battle in the Revolutionary War took place on this hallowed site. This park is well done. If you get the opportunity to see a reenactment that, too, is fascinating. Worth the visit.

We were touring the roadside attractions site when we came across this battlefield. We really enjoyed the history and time spent. Humbling part of a super fun day!

Just got your question. Hope this answer isn't too late. I spent about 30 minutes there since I teach US History and the staff was overly accommodating to me. There is a brief film and the outside buildings.
