We took out of town guests to the Guilford Courthouse NMP visitor center, where we enjoyed the video presentation about this historic revolutionary battle. Though the British won this battle, the fierce resistance they met and the huge number of casualties they suffered are said...More

The GCNM Park (commemorating a battle which, personally, I’d never heard of 😕) provided a very good introduction to one of the last southern battles of the American Revolution. If you go, do watch the 30-minute film; it does a great job of providing a...More

If you travel here over a weekend (or a holiday in our case) take the guided tour with Volunteer Tour Guide Scott Culclasure. He is a well informed tour guide who explains the events of March 15, 1781 very clearly,

This is a kid in gym for sure. This museum has more artifacts in it than I've ever seen in one place! Online it says to spend 2 hours trying to complete your Junior Ranger booklet, you don't need 2 hours. This booklet is nothing...More

Serene park with a driving tour and the walking/jogging/biking trails are plentiful. GREAT Revolutionary War History on this precious piece of preserved land. Amazing monuments and the Visitor Center is quite the “museum”. Very impressive to any history buff or nature admirer. Dogs permitted.

I haven't visited the park in a number of years and was pleased to see how they've upgraded the visitor's center. The videos are great and the museum is excellent. I would have liked to see a little more interpretation done in the park proper.

Nice trails with plenty of monuments to look at. Revolutionary War history exhibits abound and helpful staff at visitor center. A monument to two NC signers of the Declaration of Independence and their gravesites are on the grounds.

Beautiful, safe place to go solo or with friends and family. Lots of great trails to run or bike as well as the paved road that encircles the park. One can picnic, run/walk their pets (or themselves!), fish, or paddle across the lake. Easy access...More

Just got your question. Hope this answer isn't too late. I spent about 30 minutes there since I teach US History and the staff was overly accommodating to me. There is a brief film and the outside buildings.
