This lovely natural area i2 full of birds, chipmunks, squirrels, a wide variety of birdlife, turtles down at the lake, and we even saw a snake at a creek that meanders through the park. The paths are shaded or sunny - whichever is preferred, and quiet.

This garden is right across the street from the Tanger Garden. It is a very cool and refreshing stroll under the trees! Bicycles are not welcome, we were told, though I never did see any signs that would have alerted us to this.

The design of this garden makes you feel like you are deep in the woods for a good portion of the path. It's a nice place to go when you are in the Friendly Shopping Center area.

This isn't the Bicentennial Gardens - don't get confused. The gardens focus more on manicured areas and blooms, the Bog Garden is a natural area through the woods behind Friendly Center that has a great walking path with boardwalk decking put in. It's a great stroll and you can see wildlife if you just sit and observe and there's a... More

Small natural park. Perfect in-town escape. Great bird and nature watching. Love to walk there in a summer rain.
