We got here 1/2 hour before the gates would be closed. There is a note on the door explaining this location is closed for renovations. Directed us to another address for the visitor center. Since we did not have much time we did not go...More

Tannenbaum Historic Park, adjacent to the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park, gives visitors the opportunity to learn about 18th century farm life. The park centers on the restored farmstead of Joseph Hoskins. During the hours leading up to the historic Revolutionary War battle, fought March...More

I dropped by here during the week, but the Colonial Heritage Center (museum) was closed. I think it's closed until 2018. I walked the grounds, and read the signs, but there really wasn't much to see with all of the historic buildings closed. I peeked...More

Nice stroll over the grounds viewing the buildings. The Cultural Center is closed until 2018. I'm hoping that is the reason why you were unable to view inside of the buildings. The park is well maintained and has plenty of parking. We found it interesting...More

I really like the interactive map which shows the important battle that happened here during the Revolutionary War. There are some great activities for kids as well. The outside tour of the a farmstead is a real addition to the museum.

We loved the history and the preservation. It was like walking back in time. It makes you really think about how things were in the past. It's now part of the Guilford county park.

This is no longer called Tannenbaum Park, but is the "Colonial Heritage Center" and is now part of the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park. Call THERE before coming because hours are very limited at the CHC.

This is another stop on the Guilford Courthouse Park System. The buildings are very interesting to visit especially when they have the re-enactment.

Lord Cornwallis formed his lines here when he advanced into the Battle of Guilford Courthouse. The Colonial Heritage Center museum on the same property closed in 2013 and was still closed when we were there. However, you can still walk around the grounds that are...More
