Do your homework before you get to Malad George State Park, because once there, you will not get any information or help on site. When we visited recently, there were no brochures for the self guided tour and no one available in the ranger kiosk to get directions from. After paying the fee (yes there were envelopes available to collect... More

This is a cool place that's a good quick stop if you want it to be. Entrance fee is $5 and it is a loop that you drive through and get out at 6 different stops. The best is the first stop at devil's washbowl. Walk across the bridge and take the quick trail to get the full view of... More

Just a short drive from Billingsley Creek Lodge, Malad Gorge offers a striking contrast to the green green Hagerman Valley. We visited early to beat the August heat, then continued into Bliss for breakfast. Easily accessible from either the main freeway or Hagerman, the park provides trails and viewpoints along the edge of a geologic phenomenon that must be seen... More

Stunning views of this gorge coupled with some walking trails make for a lovely stop. A self guided series of stops offer some information about the area and views.

We visited Malad Gorge State Park one mid-week morning in July 2016. The park has a wonderful scenic drive where you can stop at several gorgeous overlooks of a canyon, waterfalls, river and other attractions. Also, we were stunned to find that we had the entire state park to ourselves, not a car or person in sight! Don't hesitate to... More

A great break along the interstate. It has a beautiful view of the river down below. Bring a selfie stick too.

Had caught a glimpse of the gorge over the yrs. from the interstate but had no idea what it was all about. It's a great spot to view Red Tailed Hawks & other birds. The water system for the Damn was interesting to view from the top also. This has been a well kept secret. Also has a well kept... More

Nice place to see. The Gorge in very deep and we enjoyed it. The geology of the entire area is so different from other places it makes it interesting.

Just a quick pit stop for the family, it is a nice place to get a different view of the land. The gorge itself is spectacular! Nice trails to stretch your legs and get many different perspectives of the canyon. Plus we got to watch 2 fat rock chucks play in the sun. Sometimes it is nice to get off... More
