This state park is very spread out as in 2005 it combine about 5 or more scenic areas. I am adding the description of the park to my review so you can see what there is. The signage isn't very good to some of the...More

The waterfalls springing from cliffs and crystal clear water perfect for kayaking are what capture most peoples attention. Don't overlook stepping back in time to tour the farm house made of volcanic rock or the 1920s gray barn with intricate wooden beams in the loft....More

We visited 1000 Springs Hot Pools, great swimming pool with two diving boards, log attraction to try and balance on, picnic room, private soak rooms (for extra admission), deck overlooking river, plenty of parking. Great family activity.

A great place to plan on renting a kayak, canoe or SUP, you can see many springs from roads and such but you can get really close by water with a perspective you'll never forget.

Going here in the cold months is a great way to fight cabin fever. There are a couple of hot springs to swim in, drive up and see Shoshone falls (near twin falls) , and eat alligator or sturgeon for dinner at Frogs Landing( Hagerman)

We were there mid-week. Beautiful grounds with very interesting power generation facility. Nice clear water that would be excellent for kayaking, paddle boarding or fishing.

Water was pouring out so fast it was white and foaming. Amazing to see so much water at once and it is on the opposite of the river. Several pull outs on the road to stop and take pictures .

We've never seen anything like this! Waterfalls, BIG waterfalls, are pouring out of the sides of lava cliffs, above the Snake River. At the base of the cliffs are several beautiful picnic areas, complete with picnic tables, green lawns, and big shade trees. There are...More
