This is one of the oldest temple in Ambulpuzha near Alleppey. This temple is devoted to Lord Krishna. Men should go inside the without shirt on. It is famous for palapayasam.

Famous for Ambalapuzha palpayasam(kheer). You need to book early for kheer offering. Lord Krishna is worshipped there.

This temple is situated almost 14kms to Periyar..it is a temple of Lord Krishna..huge black granite stone carved into a beautiful idol of Lord Krishna..

It is possible to visit the Ambalapuzha temple and return back to Alleppy in about 3 hours time if you leave early morning say around 6.30 am. I did not visit the St.Mary's church so can not give any information on that. All... More
