Peaceful atmosphere!! Temple has its own elephants!! Gents should not wear shirts!! Preferable for the gents to visit the temple wearing traditional vesti or mundu or panche or dhothi!!

The most famous Sree Krishna Temple of this area.... The prasadam here is Paal Payasam which is world famous for its taste.... nothing comes close to its taste!!!

Visited on may on the way to sreepadmanabhaswami temple.lord krishna in the childhood form. Got good Darshanam without rush.Ambalappuzha paalpayasam is world famous loved it verymuch

It is possible to visit the Ambalapuzha temple and return back to Alleppy in about 3 hours time if you leave early morning say around 6.30 am. I did not visit the St.Mary's church so can not give any information on that. All... More
