We visited the temple while going to Triveni Sangam point. This is very famous Devi temple in Kanyakumari. Must watch if you are here for religious visit.

As a practice prevailing here this temple also is open in early morning. During evening it opens at 4 PM. Dress code is men should remove shirt and banian.

Entrance is very disappointing. Also we needed to shellout Rs.20/- per head to enter, which was not appropriate. We were going for darshan and not for picnic !!

Our experience was good because we didn't have to wait in a queue ..the only put off was paying for each and every thing to get to the sanctum sanctorum

Yes, there is a special darshan counter. But on most days the normal darshan itself is quite accessible. Ladies can wear Sarees or Churidhar. Please avoid skirts and maintain the sanctity. For men Dhothi is preferred but... More
