Prior to visiting Bali, I never heard of Ujung Water Palace. It was included as a stop on an East Bali tour and was one of the highlights. I loved the surrounding environment and beautiful gardens. The palace itself was just alright, but everything surrounding the palace was just beautiful. Ujung Water Palace is worth a stop.

I stumbled upon this place when googling looking for places to visit in Amed. It was spacious, well-maintained and beautifully structured. Recommended to visit if you have time. Somehow the entrance fee is quite expensive - Rp100K per person/entry for international tourist - I personally think that Rp50K would be a reasonable fee.

Visited early in the morning at 9:30 am and only us and 2 other travellers. Beautiful gardens and buildings. Historical photos giving history of the King/royal family and the Dutch. Walk the steps to the top for great views and photos. Cheap entry tickets (less than $10 au pp). Not a time consuming visit (30 mins) to look around. Recommended as part of a day trip North.

This very beautiful view is part of the history of ancient times. Taman Ujung is the royal garden of East Bali, namely Karang Asem. The garden is very large and the pond is beautiful. The air here is still very beautiful. The parking area is spacious and the ticket price is also affordable so we are very happy to be able to visit here🙏

We were here early, so it wasn't crowded. It is a very interesting part of Bali's history as it was built for the King of Karangasem. The gardens are amazing. The water is almost like a moat. We didn't climb the stairs as we are a bit older. However, I would imagine the view is great. We enjoyed our visit and learning a bit about the King.
