It's such a shame, I'm sure once upon a time this beach was stunning, but now it's disgusting. There is so much trash on the sand - in my picture below you can see that there is so much white plastic that in the evening it looks like beach is covered in stones and coral. It does have a stunning... More

Well, hmm,, nice big open beach , goes on for miles, sun chairs that you pay for, drinks person comes to you, toilets you pay for but cheap as to use... Beach itself when I was there in march omg full of rubbish, dirtiest beach I have been to..

I am not sure how to describe Legian beach. If you expect to see white beach and blue sea, you'll be disappointed. However, it has its own charm. It is Bali, you can relax, enjoy fresh coconut water or excellent beer, close your eyes and listen to the sound of waves. It is especially beautiful during night, when cafes start... More

Legian beach is just ok. Nothing special here. Can be grubby and windy. Certainly nothing to rave about.

The worst beach experience of my life! Constantly hassled by street sales people and massage ladies. Could not relax as we were worried that someone would try to pinch something. The water was dirty and full of rubbish. Sand was dirty and just generally not impressive.

The beach is crowded to be sure, and yes some garbage washes up, but for the most part its picked up and there is plenty of clear sandy spots. Lots of surfing and other activities going on. Maybe not the spot for tranquility but a great place to enjoy the sun and sand

The beach and surrounds were heaps cleaner than the last few times we had been there. Local authorities seemed to have really made an effort to keep it in good condition (as evidenced by the large tractor/dozer that was roaming around with rubbish, and a cleaning crew attached to it. Obviously designed to keep the tourists coming back.

Depending on the weather you have some garbage on the beach, but they try to clean it up. Recycling is slowly coming to Bali

Unfortunately very dirty (you can spot washed up acrylic nails in the sand!) Too many hawkers disturbing you for you to relax. Head to Nusa Dua or Sanur for nicer beaches and a relaxing time.
