Average beach. Lots of people around constantly selling something to you but for a quick drink on the beach there is some great make shift beach bars.

If you don’t like the peddlers and the noisy clubbing music, come Legian beach. It’s peaceful with locals hanging out. Not as many peddlers as compared to Kuta or double six beach. Love it here!

Surprisingly clean beach considering the state of Kuta Beach, I would definitely recommend Legian any day for enjoying the waters and for an affordability family destination. Some good waves for those wishing to learn to surf which is perfect for the beginner.

Beach is sandy, flat and when we were there calm. Watch out for current as it can feel strong. Many beach bars, comfortable beds and bean bag chairs.

Imagine sharing a sand pit with a rubbish tip and your close to Legian beach. Confusion of polystyrene, natural debris, plastic waste and god knows what arriving on the beach by the wave load. Stay by the pool, you’ll live longer.

Yes. Plenty of places either on the beach or just behind would bite your arm off to help you celebrate. SKAI Beach Club at Padma Legian would make a good venue.

There will be one of the locals willing to show you how to surf at any of the surf board rentals, negotiate a price directly with them.
