From viewing images on the internet I was expecting some "wow" but it wasn't that at all. There was very little colour. I really don't know what to say, would I recommend this part of Pemuteran or Bio Rock for snorkeling??? No, would be my answer. Maybe there are other places for snorkelling, not sure.

A really nice snorkeling spot as you can see lots of fish, we even saw some quite big ones and an eel I could not identify. You can grab lunch or drinks in one of the restaurants by the beach.

Terrific ongoing efforts to save the coral reefs from warning seas due to climate change. Be sure to adopt a baby coral-a lovely remembrance and worthy cause.

Had a chance to do a night dive here ... it was okay (the dive part), but it is amazing to see what the locals did (with the help of scientist from Germany) to preserve the corals in Pemuteran Bali.

We were staying close to the beach and had been advised that the snorkeling was a must. The snorkeling is fantastic!! I taught our 5 year old daughter how to snorkel and we spent 3 hrs in the water. Our first visit to the beach was a little shocking, We walked along the beach for a while and the beach... More

We snorkelled here every day whilst staying at Tirta Sari Bungalows. The under water sculptures are fantastic. You can see the coral coming back to the area. So many fish to see. Well done on this project. A great safe area for all to enjoy.

The idea behind the structures is great, to have a snorting place is only second. If you are lucky the water is calm and you can see far, but even in worse conditions you can see colorfull fish just by snorkeling. You can spot the clown fish family in the hands of the Buddha structure.

Snorkelling off the beach , bit off rubbish in the water like most of Asia. Extensive structures to promote coral growth

We stayed at the Taman Sari resort and were completely unaware that this wonderful initiative was literally at our feet! It's about 20m off the shoreline of the resort and was wonderful! We also visited Menjangan Island and if you have little kids, no need to take a day trip out, as this was nearly as good!
