Tabanan - Bali regency should take really serious to keep this Temple as it is and a sign have to be clear of what possible or not and when is the best time to visit that people might see the personal/local who can explain more of the Temple and surround. This was by far the most impressing temple. As it is quite a ride to the temple there aren't much tourists. The clouds and the mountain top in the back give it a mystical flair. You can hike in the area whit having to fight of any "guides" or paying fees. The worshipers were much different in this temple also,... More

We booked a driver and car in Ubud who drove us up to the Batukau temple. It is a vey nice place, very peacefull and almost no tourists. After that we continued to see the rice terrases of Jatiluwih (Unesco World Inheritance) and ended our day in Lovina were we stayed two day's

As with anything in Bali , start early as possible even at dawn THEN YOU WILL SEE THE BEAUTY OF THE ISLAND, Siesta or make love in the afternoon .
