Words can't really describe the beauty of this place. There is so much to see around. The widespread lake, beautiful mountains, traditional temples, a small garden and all so well maintained! Not everyone can enter the temple. But tourists can enjoy the beauty of this...More

Like many of the lake temples, this is many tiered, which is very Balinese and beautiful. We walked a part of the way around the lake to get some wonderful photos of the temple. You can go out in boats if you wish .The scenery...More

Nothing exceptional about the temple but a good place to go for a first-time visit to Bali. The area around the temple is not big but is good for a walk.

We arrived at 12 and busses were already arrovong so the temple was very busy. Its still beautiful and the gardens too. Entrance was 50k each, so we gave 100k and then got 20k back (as a "discount"), maybe because we were wearing a sarong?...More

The temple is about 2hr drive from Seminyak, with great view along the way. it is located up in the mountain by the lake, so the temperature is quite low, bring some sweater or jacket if you are here with kids, as it could be...More

A visually beautiful area. Make sure you go early in the morning before the crowds. This is a Hindu Temple and while we were there people were making their morning offerings. Wonderful insight into the lives of average Balinese.

We visited early (9am) before the tour buses arrived which was a good idea. There were only about 10 people walking around so it was easy to get some good photos. The temple was a little smaller than I was expecting but the location on...More

The best way would be to hire a taxi for half a day at around 300000 Indonesian rupees just for this temple. Alternatively you can hire full day at 500000 and add a couple of other destinations along with this

We found food/ restaurants to be in really short supply in Bedugul, unfortunately. Yes, there is De Danau across the road from the temple, and the food there is OK, but it's not 'authentic' and it's not particularly good... More

I am pretty sure the foreigner ticket is R50,000. Not sure about the local price, but it is usually somewhat cheeper. You can't enter the temple, it is very small and on the island. But the ticket price includes entry into... More
