Madison is a pleasant and peaceful city... Lake front offers beautiful view of the Capitol building... Best place for evening walk and sunset view... Here you get in equilibrium with nature.. Suggested for nature lovers.

We come to Madison for two things, excercising outdoors and food. The area has so much going for it for outdoor enthusiasts, like ourselves, with parks and trails everywhere. Bicycling is our favorite outdoor sport and they have it down in spades ! There are...More

Run / Walk / Stroll / Bike here and you will not be disappointed! With a lovely view of the lake and an extended path (away from traffic) this is one of my madison favorites.

It is nice and relaxing to take a walk or run near Monona Lake. You can rent a bike and spend the day biking around the lake too.

Lake Monona is usually calmer than Lake Mendota. My two favorite places to watch it are from Olbrich Park and John Nolen Drive. John Nolen Drive area is busy and bustling. The Pontoon porch and Betty Lou Cruises also dock here. There a variety of...More

This is a beautiful trail along the lake. It is mostly shaded. It starts (or ends) at the Terrace of Univ. of Wis. This is a fun place to stretch or get a bite to eat or drink.
