Great place to walk during weekend's mornings during summer and fall seasons. If you go on Saturday, the farmers market is an excellent option to spend the free time.

The Square is often a busy place on warm days in the summer, especially mid-day/lunchtime. Go to one of the many food carts, grab some lunch, find a place to sit on a bench or the lawn of the Capitol, and watch the world walk...More

This building looks almost like the Capitol in Washington DC. It is one of the most beautiful Capitols in the Union. The dome has a wonderful painting in the center and is awe inspiring.

Any visit to Madison must include a leisurely stroll around the Capital Square and at least a short visit inside the Capital building. If you're lucky enough to be there during Farmer's Market season on a Saturday morning, don't miss it. Lots of really great...More

We spend a lot of time at the Square. The farmer's market is like none other. The people-watching is great. The Taste of Madison is a wonderful event. Even just walking around at night around bar time can be entertaining. The view down State Street...More

A scaled down model of the U.S. Capitol. Beautiful and especially so at night when lit up. Capital sits on top of a small hill and is visible throughout Madison. During the summer and fall there is a great farmers market that rings the capitol...More

I'm really not certain. I believe the Capitol has guided tours and is handicap accessible.
