No matter where we travel, if we are going to be there a couple of days we visit the zoo. They are not reciprocal to most other zoo memberships, so no discount (except for buying tickets on line in advance). It was SO HOT. Elephants...More

It had been decades since I've been to a zoo, so I was really looking forward to this visit. When we purchased our tickets, there was a discount for Florida residents, so that started things off well, and to be greeted with gorgeous Caribbean flamingos--I...More

We were in New Orleans for a couples’ trip and dragged the other couple to the zoo. We dragged them in, but had to drag them out, too! The zoo is well maintained (even under construction) and the staff SO friendly and helpful. They were...More

Can't wait to see the completed exhibits. Construction made it hard to see everything this trip. Loved the swamp exhibit!

This is a historic zoo that has wonderful creatures that you may not find in other regional zoos. Overall, a good zoo but one needs to realize that the St. Charles line leaves one at Tulane and one must wait for a shuttle. The orangatans...More

Was disappointed that refreshments and snacks were so expensive. Also, the train ride was free, but the carousel was not included in the park admission fee. Most of the animals seemed content, but we were disappointed in the size of most of the enclosures. They...More

We were disappointed to find many of the exhibits empty. Due to the construction between the primate area and were Monkey Hill is or was, we were unable to take the direct route to the Swamp and South American sections. We skipped these sections not...More

We went to the zoo on our NOLA trip and are glad we did. The zoo is fairly small and animals not that different from most zoos but the theming was fanastic! Currently their is a road closed which doesn't allow a loop so they...More

We had a wonderful trip to the Audobon Zoo! There are so many varieties of animals and many I haven’t seen at other zoos. We loved the nocturnal house and the primates section.
