Be sure to take an escorted tour through each of the Districts. The garden district is beautiful. You will see neighborhoods with lush landscaping and historic homes.

We took the St Charles streetcar through the Garden District. The old mansions are beautiful and most of the sidewalks have shade if you want to walk it. There are also some very nice places to eat here. **This streetcar is not air-conditioned.

You cannot come to NOLA without taking the tram out the the Garden District - you won't tire of the amazing architecture and sumptuous houses where many celebrities and actors live amongst the locals in relative anonymity undisturbed by the people of New Orleans. You'll...More

If you want to get away from the hustle of the French Quarter and a nice stroll, this is the place. The quaint houses and spring blooms are wonderful!

we took the Charles st trolley to visit the Garden District, and what a lovely area, mature vegetation and character homes that took my breath away---definitely not to be missed when visiting New Orleans!

We took the St. Charles line on the streetcars through the Garden District. The homes are incredible. If we had more time, I would have done a walking tour through the area.

If only we could see the inside of these mansions, they are all so stunning. You can walk in the footsteps of TV and film seeing these houses that were stars ( the american horror story house) all on their own
