Decided to come to Sunday Mass during our trip. We are not Catholic, but really wanted to experience mass in New Orleans and hear the music. The music was a blend of jazz and gospel music with traditional Catholic hymns. We really enjoyed this. The...More

A wonderful old Roman Catholic Church which is frequented by both locals and a few tourists from around the nearby hotels. I enjoyed morning Mass there each day during our visit.

We stopped here on the recommendation of our tour guide at St Louis Cemetery No 1. The church is a former mortuary and has the Shrine of St Jude

My husband says he found Jesus in a predominately black Catholic Church <3 whatever it takes to get him to go to mass. We often drive 30 minutes from Slidell to go to mass here. Love the services – love the choir.

My son & daughter-in-law were married at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Second Line Parade followed immediately. Father Tony was wonderful! He was very accomadating and informative. I wish he was at my local parish. This church is entrenched in NOLA history and serves the community...More

This was our next stop after visiting Cemetery No. 1. I had high hopes based on some of the other reviews but ended up being disappointed. The church, while nice, was nothing special. It wasn’t grand and there was nothing particularly ornate about it, it...More

This church is old and pretty. There was a Sunday Mass happening when we stopped by. The doors were open to everyone and the streets were quite festive. Anyone that entered respected that mass was going on and either went in or stayed in the...More
