This is a great place and a tradition for us when at all possible to visit the Columns for Happy Hour. Nothing like sitting on their porch and "people watching." Love the friendliness of the wait staff.

The Columns was a lovely hotel from the outside and even the ornate woodwork and stained glass on the inside. However, for $500 for 3 nights I paid they can afford to do some massive updates. Room #20. Bathroom shower was awful! Cheep shower curtain, tile grouting was dirty, and shower didn't drain well bc it was unleveled. I saw... More

Stayed for one Sunday night to drop my son off at college. Stayed in Room #20 on the 3rd floor. There is no parking here so that's important to note. This wasn't clear to me until I got there. I was able to park out front, no problem, since there was only 3 rooms booked that night. One of my... More

This place has the perfect patio for drinking and relaxing. It's not the fanciest place but it definitely has character and is a great place to stop for that historical NOLA vibe.

This antebellum home hotel offers everything you need for a perfect NOLA experience. You are right on the St Charles streetcar track to go to the celebrations in the French Quarter and then come back to the solice of The Columns. The music is great, the bar is one of the best in America and the food is amazing southern... More

We enjoyed a fun and entertaining happy hour. The Columns was beautiful and historic. The party on the porch is welcoming and our cocktails were delicious. There is a perfect view of the historic trolley and with beautiful weather I can't think of a better way to start the evening.
