The downstairs Tropical Isle bar presents live entertainment seven nights a week featuring Debi & The Deacons, Captain Leo, Rhythm & Rain and other great bands specializing in Trop-Rock. The upstairs “Top of the Trop” area has a wrap around balcony with a fabulous view of Bourbon Street, big screen TVs, a pool table and a jukebox filled with lots of Jimmy Buffet music. The world famous Hand Grenade, Tropical Itch, Horny Gator and Shark Attack are served at both bars. The perfect place for your special event or private party. Check out our live webcam of the outside entrance and also our live streaming webcam of the stage.

We had fun here trying a couple of the cocktails - the Hand Grenade, a melon flavoured concoction which boasts being New Orleans' most powerful cocktail! We also had a Shark Attack, delivered with a bit of theatre you won't want to miss. Both come...More

Cheap, super strong drinks in a fun location. Bartenders are nice although busy. There are multiple locations along Bourbon Street. Try a hand grenade AND a shark attack!

Hubby and I hit Bourbon St on a pretty quiet Thursday night. We enjoyed the live band and frozen band grenade!

The drink itself wasn't that great, too sweet for our liking but it did the job. Was a little disappointed to see it come out premixed but you can understand why. The place is decorated really well and had a good vibe. We would visit...More

Tropical Isle @ Bourbon and Orleans is a must stop. Sunday evening you can hear Rain Jaudon play and the down stairs bar is slinging Hang Grenades and Shark Attacks galore. Had my first Bushwacker from the upstairs bar and that has now become a...More
