. I had questions before we arrived and Dawn answered the phone. She answered all my questions and more! We talked for quite some time and she was so personable. I never once felt that I was wasting her time like so many other places you call. When we arrived she was our tour guide on the St Louis Cemetery... More

We did two tours with Magic Tours in New Orleans. Both the Garden District tour with Val and the French Quarter tour with Dawn were excellent. These are very knowledgeable tour leaders who emphasize sharing the legitimate history of New Orleans while being charming and engaging. We highly recommend this company!

1000% entertaining and educational. Molly and I loved his witty and snappy charm. Plus he and his close friend Cindy spent a world of time with us chatting about the beautiful history of New Orleans. Randy was a gracious guide and gave us interesting facts and history about the Garden District on our tour. His southern charm and warm personality made it a fun and memorable tour as well! Thanks, Randy!

We took the Garden District walking tour with Randy! He brought the Garden District and LaFayette Cemetery to life with his engaging presentation. His stories and passion for the subject made it all the more interesting. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

We had an amazing time with Tracy! She was delightful and funny, and it made a difference that she was a local. We really enjoyed out time with her, and they way she did the tour was informational and fun. We learned a lot and I would recommend her 100%.

And I thought I knew history? Not until you have Randy Bibb as your tour guide. He's one of those natives that knows all the "ins" and "outs" of a city. Fascinating descriptions, funny and puts a bit of "theater" in his tours. Just enjoyed every minute of both of the two hour tours with him. Cemetery tour is enlightening... More

Randy Bibb gave us a great overview of New Orleans in two hours which I wish had lasted two days! This wasn't my first New Orleans trip and I found out how much I didn't know!! He is charming, kind and considerate as well as having a great sense of humor. The next time I'm in New Orleans I plan... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
