The music is excellent and it is one block from Frenchmen Street where there are two blocks of Jazz, Blues & other music clubs, with some having very good dinning. It is worth a visit. There is also an open air art market. This should be an evening event.

No cover, cold beer, hot tunes in an intimate setting. We heard Little Red & the Big Band -- a nice mix of music well performed.

Maybe it was the night we picked but it was definitely not Blues or Jazz, it was Rock. And to go with that, it was loud. The music was okay, but not what we were looking for, and too loud for us.

Enjoyed the band- @musicalexpnola Saturday night. Place was not some drunken Bourbon street bar experience. They had a man at door keeping tables clear, helping folks get seated and keeping the place in order. Stayed for more than hour. Had a few drinks ( serve yourself). I did see a sign for a patio bar and I did see some... More

A very basic locals kind of jazz bar. At the east end of the French Quarter, it's quaint with live entertainment, decent drinks and a fun lively crowd.

This club does not pack in the crowds of Frenchman Street which is nearby and this fact is a good thing. There was no cover charge and the place has more space to sit and talk. The music is loud and wonderful. The place has a long bar inside and patio bar as well. By 10PM, however, the place was... More

We were told when in New Orleans check Frenchman street area out, so we did and came across this club, we could hear the music outside and thought this sounds good, lets check it out, well we spent the whole evening there, the band was great , did some dancing , had a few drinks and jus had a great... We just stopped in for one drink. The 3 man blues band was very good if you like rocking blues. There was no pressure to buy drinks. Easy to get in and out of and sound quality was very good. I would go back.

Great option to dance, jump, act silly or whatever you want as long as you don't mess with anyone. The bands play live music and the atmosphere is quite friendly. You can see some weird looking characters going into the bar to dance with the patrons. Although there's security personnel you keep an eye on your belongings. Drinks are priced... More

Found this place by accident as we were out walking if an evening and were drawn to the music - so glad we did. Great atmosphere with random dancing throughout the tables downstairs (must confess our guilt at this); and bar staff very helpful and enjoying the music themselves. Doesn't get much better!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
