My husband and I just enjoyed a big southern breakfast with mimosas and a very informative historic tour of the Edgar Degas house on Esplanade in New Orleans. Our art historian tour guide, Lila, was a wealth of information about all things Degas, including his...More

Thank you for you kind review. Having our Creole Breakfast before the tour is a great way to begin your day and we are happy that you enjoyed it. Obviously, you appreciated the tour and learning about Edgar Degas’ time here in New Orleans. Thank...More

One of the stops I most anticipated while in New Orleans was the Degas House. What I was most disappointed in was the Degas House. I am an artist and huge fan of Degas' work. For $15 each we were sat in front of a...More

We are sorry that you were disappointed in the self-guided tour of Degas House. Since you highly anticipated Degas House before your arrival, we are curious as to why you did not take the time to attend the guided tour. You would have gotten so...More

Admire that they saved the building and are doing the tours to fund the continued preservation of the building. Interesting history about the city of New Orleans and about de Gas The tour could've been a little bit shorter 30 minutes would've done it. Beautiful...More

Thank you for submitting your review of the Tour. You obviously understand and appreciate the home and the information given in the tour. We’re sorry you felt it a bit too long. The documentary, which has won many awards, is 30 minutes long, so in...More

I took the tour of the house. This was defiantly a tour of art and history buffs. Not only did I learn about Degas and his paintings, but his family and New Orleans history. Absolutely fascinating. I gained a deeper appreciation for his work. The...More

Thank you for your kind 5-star review of our Tour. This tour is not only enjoyed by art and history buffs, but people who know nothing about art or history come to a deeper understanding of a significant event that took place in New Orleans...More

Not really worth the cost. Says great-grand niece runs the tour but not so. The woman who ran it was somewhat informative but repeated the same things over and over. Tour dragged on. Breakfast was good. Lots of copies of Degas.More

Thank you for attending our Tour. We are sorry that you were displeased with the price. Our tour involves actual history, not made-up stories, and we feel it is one of the most valid tours in the city. Unfortunately, even with two great-grandnieces of Degas...More
