They don't plan ahead with business'. We where turned away from at least 2 places because they had other activities going on..group started out with 14 people. people drop out because they couldn't hear what was said and boring. Wife and I stayed hoping for improvment. We got some history from it, but definitely did not get what we paid... More

Took this tour with Joe Gendusa. The man is an absolute treasure! This was a great introduction to the French Quarter in a very relaxed and fun manner. Learned a great deal about the history of NOLA, while having a great time with a group of people from all over the country, and even a few visiting from another country.... More

Sandi is a great tour guide and she will be delighted to know how much you enjoyed her tour. All the guides on the cocktail tour mix history and fun and folklore for a tour where you can meet new people you like and new cocktails you only dreamed about. More

Easy to organise and meet up, greeted by Brian who was just right for this tour, managed the group well, pointed us in all the right directions, had a perfect demeanour and delivery for getting tourists mildly sloshed in all the best places. Brian punctuated the pace with stories and history, and it was like being shown around by a... More

It could have been an off day, but our guide did not seem that enthusiastic or informative. The tour seemed like it was more important to sell cocktails than give an informative historical outlook on much of anything else. We also went to only three places. Just my opinion, but not what I thought it would be.

This tour, led by Joe, was an absolute blast. Joe is a New Orleans treasure. He infused the tour with so much history of the City, its culture, restaurants and, of course, its specialty cocktails. I suggest dressing up a bit as most women were in dresses and the men wore nice short/sleeve shirt and dress shorts. We learned lots... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
