Vampire tour

This was very informative. Gwydion is a funny guide. Be prepared to be standing for a while--it is just the nature of the tour. I would do a haunted history tour again.

I have gone on several of the tours offered by Haunted Histories and cannot recommend them enough. Every guide I have met has vast knowledge of the city and it's stories and do a wonderful job of telling them in an entertaining and engaging way. I find these tours a great way to get a taste for the French Quarter... More

We had a great time on this tour. It was easy to book through the website and the location was easy to find as well. Claire was our tour guide and she was very informative and entertaining. I really liked the combination of stories told on this tour, a little bit for everyone. We'll definitely book another tour through Haunted... More

My very large mixed age group decided to do a haunted tour & I'm so glad we chose this one. Our guide, Ari, was absolutely phenomenal. Very engaging & informed, she really made the stories come to life without being cheesy (and her accents are on point). I loved the combination of info about the hauntings & general New Orleans... You could consider me "addicted " to the New Orleans culture . What's not to love ? ( the music, food , heavy drinking and of course the spooky stories!!) I have been to Nola quite a few times in the last two years and the Haunted History Tours is a MUST. I have taken the tour 4 times with... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
