Stood for an age waiting for a boat. Then taken into the swamp where we saw half a dozen six foot alligators and a heron. And that was about it, no excitement or particular interest. Then back to base. Wouldn't recommend this one.

We saw many alligators. The Captain put a marshmallow on the end of a stick and the alligators would jump for it. We also got to hold a small alligator, which was fun. Very friendly people on the boat and it was very comfortable. Also,...More

Booked this tour with Groupon, but had to purchase transportation from the French Quarter to their grounds. It was an additional $25 each person. Cheaper than a roundtrip Uber for just two people. If you have a group of 3 or 4, Uber may be...More

$250 for up to 6 persons on the private bay boat swamp tour. Transportation depends on the number of persons in your party. Typically, for 6 persons, its about $80/per person

I would think you would see more alligators in the morning when they sun themselves. Sunset would be better for viewing others.
