The rooms in the Inn, which Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter helped develop, each represent a decade of their lives and are decorated accordingly. There's a common area where a light breakfast is served. The Antique Mall is a storehouse of local history.

This shop has a little bit of everything in it. I loved the old southern feel to the place. There is a lot of glass in the store, so keep in eye on your kids.

What a lovely small town, historic, colorful, clean and welcoming. Residents helpful and knowledgeable about the area and tourist attractions. Would have loved to stay at Plains Inn, creatively decorated rooms done in different eras.

This was a nice little stop with antique shops, political stuff and peanut ice cream. It is worth spending an hour browsing and talking.

The stores had great items for good prices and the political store lady was wonderful. So many unique political trinkets. She warned afterwards that she tells friends to go under speed limit and stop extra long at intersections. Unfortunately I met her too late and...More
