Tiny from the outside, huge from the inside. I have been to many car museums, and this is one of the nicest. Huge collection, well sorted, with a personal touch.

Not easy to find but well the effort and free entry with the local summer card. The are probably about forty cars form the 1950s to the 70s, including a few Jaguars, Mercedes, and VWs but also many lesser known makes from Eastern Europe, including the memorable Messerschmitt. In addition there are about thirty motorcycles.

What a great little museum in the basement of the Sport Kristall Hotel in Kaprun. Loads of stuff to see, Cars, Bikes, Tractors etc. We visited on our last full day in Kaprun before heading out on a walk in the valley behind the hotel. A very interesting collection of vehicles, all be it a little crammed in, and on... More

You can see here a lot of oldtimers, cars and motorbikes, but they are rather piled up, so it's hard to get to see details. Interesting, however, but rather expensive if you are not staying at a local hotel.

A fascinating collection! Many rare German-made cars of the 1920s-30s vintage. Easy to walk to from the centre of Kaprun.

This museum is worth a visit. You would never imagine it to be where it is. Great vehicles inside and out. A real collectors home!!

It is very nice oldtimer museum, but the main issue for me was, that the cars and bikes are so close to each other. It is the result of small exhibition. The visitor can not make good photos of the showpieces or take a look in to the cars cockpit for example. But otherwise it is very nice museum and... More

First tip, come warmly dressed its very cold inside at winter. The museum collection is very rich including rare old cars, bikes etc. The early model of Rolls Royce is very impressing. Also' did you know that Messershmidt made cars? Summary -very reccommended. allow at least 2 hours of your time.
