We have been coming to Austria for many years and this ski area in the glacier is perfect as the gondola takes you up into a bowl and there is no where to get lost as it all comes back down to the gondola again...More

If you're in the neighborhood, don't miss it! Amazing views from the top of the mountain, nature in all its glory! For skiers good slopes almost around the year.

We visited in July, everything was open then. I suggest you check their website before you go, it should give you all the info you need.

I presume you will be travelling from Salzburg. You can take a train to zell am see and from the station take a shuttle to kaprun. Keep in mind the frequency of the shuttle. I would suggest you go for OBB special which I... More
