Ruse is nice city with Danube river view, there no sailing on the river but you can sit and relax with nice view' we were in good restaurant with local food .

We walked along the river and didn't get a good vibe as there were a lot of construction and nothing really to look at.

We are living at about 20km to the Danube River and we are going for fishing every Sunday. It is a great place for camping, barbeques, swiming and sailing. Great place during the Summer.

I have been visiting other cities on the Danube and due to the industrial footprint of Ruse, I have to say this resulted the less fascinating and more polluted. They are restructuring the bank so who knows what the future will bring

The shear width of Europe’s second biggest (not sure what the criteria is) river is very impressive. Especially considering that you are about 500kms from its mouth in to the Black Sea. Very interesting to see how it would have been a major trade route...More

A joy to cruise on the Danube and get to visit this amazing place. The scenery is fantastic and ever changing with little villages dotted along the shore
