This is a very nice museum dedicated to the history of 29 Palms. They moved the old school house to this location across the street from the Art Gallery.

This museum touches on the history of the city. It's built inside the former one-room schoolhouse. An outside building allows you to view the area's first public transportation--the Hastie Bus. Great gift shop too. Even locals shop here for the perfect gift.

We went here on a rainy day... and really got a history lesson. Sometimes you think that 'history' means that it has to hundreds of years old, especially if you live in the east. But this school house museum tells the story of the area's...More

This is a small museum recounting the early history of the 29 Palms schoolhouse and to some extent the entire area. If we had just walked through it on our own, it would have been of modest interest, but nothing more. The gentleman who guided...More
