Gary was a wonderful guide! Perhaps the most knowledgeable fellow we have met regarding Hawaiian birds, geology, history, legend we have yet encountered. Quite a fine host as well!

Scenic views of surroundings & observatories and sun set views in the summit of Mauna Kea. The bigger highlight was the set up of the telescope followed by viewing and explanations of the constellations. Some interesting knowledge for non astronomers.
