The market was full of chatty merchants, a good selection with merchandise and some pretty sweet deals. It is worth checking out while you are in Mona.

Nice market to walk around. Although a lot of products are meant for the tourist you will find a lot of local (mainly fruit) products as well. Nice to see what the region offers

Good place to buy produce but there is also a lot of cheap crappy souvenirs to buy. I am sure the cruise shippers like the convenience but you can get better quality trinkets at other shops.

When in Kona this is the best shopping for fresh fruits and crafts. 30+booths w/free parking and LOCAL jewelry, paintings, food sold by locals! So much better than the dozens of over priced tshirt shops for souvenirs!

It was the morning we were flying home so we had time and then we spotted the Kona farmers market. It looked like fun for all of us before lunch. We gave the kids (three under age 11) some money to spend, each $5 bills,...More

I think it is kind of ratty and tacky. Depending upon what fruit tent you look at the prices can be different depending upon who is in the 'prime' spots. I can see if a cruise ship was in port the place would get really...More
