My Fiancé and I vacationed the Monday (8/27) after hurricane Lane. Kona was not affected and Kua Bay was absolutely Gorgeous 😍

Kua Bay was by far one of the most beautiful beaches I saw during my stay in Kona. It had the clearest water with the softest, most white sand. I visited about 10 different beaches while in Kona, and this was by far my favorite.

The bay is gorgeous green and blue water, the beach is white sand. This bay is close by, has nice bathrooms and the water is just gorgeous. I pop down here often for a quick dip, and guarantee you will love it!

No there’s no bike racks, but if you park at the first parking area (no signs there, but you’ll see cars parked and a wide path to the right). You can ride your bike on the path until you enter the beach pathways. You can... More
