Very much worth a couple of hours walking through the Sealife Center. The staff is doing a great job with wildlife in every aspect. The sea animals are well displayed, lots of activity and good information.

Its a nice place to visit while in Seward. They have a variety of fish to look at as well as a bird area and some sea lions which were cool. They do have some other animals ouyside that you can sort of see from...More

The exhibits were nice and informative but the bird sanctuary part was incredible. They were flying right over us and there were so many beautiful Alaskan birds in the pool right in front of us. I could have stayed half the afternoon right there.

Definitely worth a visit, but not at the top of the list of experiences i had in Alaska. We got discounted admission with our Fjords tour ($17 vs $25 normal) and had a fun time looking at the animals. Gift shop was lovely. There were...More

Stopped here on our two day visit to Seward. What a gem. I was surprised to find such a great center in this small town. Do not miss this.

This is a phenomenal center which was poorly advertised even in the small but lovely city of Seward. It's a "must see" experience with great exhibits and wonderful access to sea and bird life. This a science center and so there is much to learn...More

All ages will enjoy this spot. We spent about an hour and enjoyed the sea lion and seals. Very good exhibits too. Note there is 10 percent off for triple AAA.

Myself and my husband went to the sea life center and it was only okay for the price you pay. It was pretty small and we got through it in about 45 minutes, it might be more suited for families.

My husband and I have been to the Sealife Center at least four times now and we always enjoy the visit. They give a military discount which is great, and they also offer special animal encounters (for an extra fee). We have done the Puffin...More

Contact the Alaska Sealife Center directly. I believe they have regularly scheduled behind the scenes tours, but probably do them on special requests also. The staff is very informative and available for questions.
